| Welcome to If you submitted to a wrong folder by accident 'withdraw' your submission. (Only submit your best work as it will be seen by all members). Show good technique, depth of field, lighting, sharpness of focus, etc. Over manipulated photos will be declined. Slight manipulationis are acceptable but only to enhance the image quality There are faults with the photo: (excessive amounts of noise, being blurry, over or under exposed, poor colour, or simply poor quality) There are way to many who submit their photos to the wrong folders. So here a description of what photos goes in what folders. If your photo is good enough, you may submit your photo here. Co-founder LeaLion Only photos with animals! People may be in the photograph, but the main focus has to be a living animal. Insects also go in this folder, unlees it's a clear close-up and belongs in the macro folder. No dead animals or plushies or something like that. Only color photos As the folder name applies, here you submit flower photos, or other plants, but no leaves. Leaves go under Other Nature folder. When we say plants, we mean plants like grain, fruit and such flowery like plants. Only color photos. Nature photos that don't seem to belong in plants and flowers or landscape folder belong in this folder. Only color photos. Some examples: [link] [link] [link] All scapy photos are going in this folder, but no black & white or HDR. They have their own folders. Every photo shoeing a large amount of land, water or sky belongs here. Wondering what a scape photo is? Here are some examples: [link] [link] [link] Any photo with a human or more people in focus belongs here. Only color photos. This is a folder for the macro photos. What is macro photos? A photo were the motive is clearly in focus, a close-up, and the background is out of focus. These are some examples: [link] [link] [link] Still life is photographs of still objects and motives, most often food, drink, dolls and flower arrangement. Still life photography is about making and arranging a photography rather than taking one. Examples: [link] [link] [link] Absolutely ALL black and white photography. All photos with buildings, houses, architecture in it. Unless there's something else in the photo that takes the focus and fits in the other folders. Only color photos.
